Tirana airport says no additional flights scheduled to and from Tel Aviv

TIRANA, Oct. 16 /ATA/ – Tirana International Airport (TIA) said on Friday that flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel, were operating according to schedule, clarifying that no additional services had been introduced.

In an official statement, TIA said the two flights scheduled for Friday were part of the summer timetable, which remains in effect until the end of October, and did not represent extra flights.

During the summer season, three airlines operate an average of 22 to 24 weekly flights to and from Tel Aviv, with no increase or reduction in frequency, the airport said.

For the 2026-2027 winter season, Israeli airline EL AL has scheduled two flights per week. Airlines also work with tour operators that have long been bringing tourists to Albania, TIA added.

The airport advised passengers to consult its official website and airlines’ communication channels for the latest information on flight schedules and status.
