TIRANA, February 12/ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama posted in the social media images of the ongoing works for building of Tirana-Durrës railway.
PM Rama emphasized that Tirana – Durrës railway will enable fast connection through 11 stations between Durrës, Tirana and the “Mother Teresa” Airport.
The trains will run at a speed of 120 km/h and move along Tirana- “Mother Teresa” Airport-Durrës railway.
Meanwhile, the workers now have available a modern machine, a tamper that is used to tamp the track ballast under railway tracks so that to make the tracks and roadbed more durable and level.
In addition to civil engineering works, there will be built the stations while the next stage will be the electrification. /p.s./
