TIRANA, February 17/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha said during his speech at the protest held in front of the Premier’s Office that history shows that the DP is the only political force that overthrew two dictatorships one after the other.
“Today, we stand more firmly than ever in the battle with the dictatorship. History shows us that we have been the only political force that overthrew two dictatorships one after the other,” said Berisha.
Berisha said that this time last year, “He, the leader of the opposition, was arrested in violation of the law, in violation of the Constitution.”
“I delivered my speech from a television screen, a political prisoner,” said Berisha.
“But, in that protest, we laid the foundations of every victory that we deserve and that we will have. In that protest we proved to the Albanians that we rose from the ashes like the Phoenix and that those who thought they would defeat us failed shamefully. We are invincible!”, Berisha continued.
Further on, Berisha added that, “We come here today as an opposition that makes the utmost. Today we have a seal and a flag. Today, with three international resolutions, we are the most supported political force”.
Berisha also spoke about his visit to Germany and said that, “I solemnly pledged in Germany that Albania will export zero refugees and crime to Europe. This is our commitment, zero tolerance”.
“So, friends, these are the reasons why we are here today. To tell Albanians and the whole world that we will never agree with this thief that the history of Albania has never known another like him”, Berisha said. /p.s./
