TIRANA, February 8/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted to the announced protest of the Democratic Party saying that the opposition protest was inspired by a fugitive from the justice for corruption and hiding wealth.
Rama wrote in a post on the X platform that, “This protest should be welcomed because it is a clear reflection of the rotten alternative of a political quagmire of degraded losers, whom on May 11 elections the Albanians must wipe them out by voting for the only worthy political force in Albania, the Socialist Party of Albania.”
“Only through abandoning the quagmire, the democrats will be able to create space for the rebirth of a political opposition worthy of Albania as a member of the European Union. Otherwise, the losses will only deepen beyond May 11, when today’s protesters will not only be losers for the tenth time in a row, but also by the widest margin from the Socialist Party since 2013”, PM Rama emphasized./a.f/p.s./
