TIRANA, Jan 30 /ATA/ –  Hungary seen through the lens of Albanian renowned photographer Roland Tasho was displayed in an exhibition that opened at the Shkoder Municipality hall on Thursday.

During his visit to Budapest over three decades, Tasho has documented the Albanian-Hungarian friendship, the Albanian community living there, conveying the energy of a long cooperation.

Hungarian Ambassador Martina Kasnyik, and the Mayor of the northwest Albanian city of Shkoder, Benet Beci, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition entitled “Hungarian Flavour.”

Shkoder Mayor took to the social media to share images from the exhibition, saying that he and the Hungarian Ambassador also discussed ways of bilateral cooperation on economy and tourism.

“I briefed the Ambassador also about a series of investments and projects launched in our city,” Beci said.

The exhibition showcases the beauties of Hungarian architecture, photographs of diplomats dressed in Albanian costumes, and meeting points between Albanians and Hungarians such as the Skanderbeg monument or Mother Teresa.

The exhibition also featured photographs of Budapest’s buildings, cultural heritage, the city’s reflection on the river that runs through it, etc.
