TIRANA, Jan 7 /ATA/ The Ministry of Justice has finalized the collection of notarial archives that were not properly administered, including those from notaries whose licenses were revoked and former notaries.
Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, announced on Tuesday that in 2024 alone, 30 archive collections were completed, ensuring access to documents dating back up to 25 years.
Manja stated that the names of the notaries managing these archives have been published on the official website of the Ministry of Justice, providing transparency and offering citizens the previously unavailable opportunity to obtain their documents.
“We are protecting citizens from abuses by restoring the access that was previously missing to notarial archives,” stated Manja.
