TIRANA, Dec 21 /ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, announced on Saturday that 65 junior doctors have commended their 3-year contracts with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to offer their professional expertise, while the ministry continues its efforts to strengthen the public healthcare system by bringing in new professionals.
Ardita, Ajgena, Pavlina, Zana, Sonila, Ausilja, and Adenisa are the new doctors who, after completing their speciality residency on a covered quota, have now been employed and are serving at the Regional Hospital of Vlora.
“This year, 65 junior doctors have commenced their 3-year employment contracts with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, while 229 specialist doctors are carrying on with their contracts. These junior doctors are the best proof of our investment in a public healthcare system that improves the quality of services, bringing healthcare closer to citizens through dedicated and well-trained professionals,” said Koçiu in a social media post.
“I am Ardita Goxhalli, recently appointed as a pulmonologist at the Regional Hospital of Vlora. I am thankful for the opportunity to work alongside a warm, professional, and dedicated team, providing patient care over the next three years,” she said.
“I am Pavlina Mikli from the city of Dibra. I have been appointed as a gynecologist, and my contributions will extend beyond the hospital where I am assigned,” said another newly appointed doctor at the Regional Hospital of Vlora.
The recruitment of specialist doctors has enhanced and strengthened services across various specialties, providing quality healthcare to every citizen and patient near their place of residence.
