Hasani also added, “This meeting aims to promote values that affirm not only the national identity but also the European spirit of Albanians.”
“Beyond reflecting on 2024 and the progress made in the fields of culture, diplomacy, and economics, this meeting comes at an opportune moment to charter a sustainable path for the upcoming year, further strengthening the diaspora policy and its integration into both Albanian society and the international community. And, undoubtedly, it is a great opportunity to ensure the growth and integration of Albania and Albanians in the international arena to contribute to collective development,” said Hasani.
“Diaspora is perhaps the most important part of our nation, and the national cause requires broad engagement and cooperation from all sectors of society,” added Hasani.
The Minister stated, “In 2024, together with the Minister of Education, we have made significant progress in supporting the Albanian language in the diaspora. We have distributed over 5,000 educational materials and involved around 20,000 students in learning the Albanian language. This commitment has helped preserve the Albanian cultural identity and strengthen ties with the homeland.”
