Jaka-entrepreneurs: Let us stop exodus of workers

TIRANA, December 6/ATA/ On the 128th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana, Head of this chamber Nikolin Jaka presented a detailed analysis of the work done throughout 2024 starting from business forums, B2B, trainings aimed at developing skills and professional qualifications, numerous projects in the service of private entrepreneurship, and finally, lobbying and advocacy aimed at protecting business interests.

In this context, Jaka raised the need of having working tables with joint participation of experts from public administration and private enterprise, since as he put it, we can have the proper results only through cooperation and coordination.

Jaka insisted that Albanian entrepreneurship must make more efforts to overcome the “challenge of the century”, that of the lack of human capital.

“You must have detailed strategies to retain human capital in Albania; to convince human capital that it is paid properly, but also to make them aware of the responsibility they have to be as professional, as competent and as capable as possible to influence the economy of our country and this is the challenge of the century. We should never expect the government to increase the minimum wage, because we must be one step ahead, we must see regional competition and why not, the global competition”, said Jaka. /j.p/p.s./
