Parliament session closes, Spiropali: It is affected by stage-play and forced violence

TIRANA, December 5/ATA/ The Albanian Parliament closed its session today after the debates between the ruling majority and the opposition, while MP Ina Zhupa addressed Socialist MP Erion Braçe with offensive words.

Chairperson of the Parliamentary group of the Democratic Party Gazment Bardhi argued that the Socialist MPs leaving the hall happened because they were not able to give an account and respond to the requests for interpellation.

“Let Ogerta Manastirliu hide for another 7 days”, said Bardhi regarding the interpellation the opposition demanded with the education minister regarding the murder of the 14-year old student in front of school in Tirana.

While Speaker of the Assembly Elisa Spiropali stated that, “We have never been afraid to sit and discuss whether it is about the budget or anything else. But, when the session is seriously violated by stage-play, forced violence, hate speech and degradation. And as there are no more items on the agenda, of course, the session will be closed”.

“I hope that we discuss more responsibly in the next session, where you will have more opportunities to talk about both the agreements and the law on fines, which took up most of the time in today’s session. The next session will be announced”, said Spiropali. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
