TIRANA, November 18/ATA/ Albania experiences a special moment with inauguration of the Art Cooperative, the first art organization of its kind in our country located in a renovated building in Vaqarr village, 7 km away from Tirana.
This new cooperative is established thanks to the support of the Municipality of Tirana through the Creative Industries Agency and the Emanuel Foundation. Today, it offers a unique platform for the artists from all over the world, inviting them to live and work together in an inspiring and creative environment.
Speaking at the opening event, Director of the Creative Industries Agency Jonid Jorgji highlighted the economic development potential of the creative industries.
“With the opening of the Art Cooperative, we are contributing to the development of creative industries. We believe in a great economic potential and that the professions of the future will stem from this industry, i.e. professions that cannot be replaced even by Artificial Intelligence, but are the fruit of human creativity”, stated Jorgji.
In addition to showcasing new talents, the Art Cooperative will also be open to the public every weekend. The visitors will have the opportunity to attend various artistic activities such as exhibitions, shows, performances, workshops and discussions, as well as purchase works of art from the participating artists.
This project of the Municipality of Tirana through the Creative Industries Agency is an important step to encourage interaction between artists and the community, as well as to promote Albanian art in a global context. /j.p/p.s./
