TIRANA, Oct 9 /ATA/ – Parliament Speaker Elisa Spiropali hosted Wednesday a group of 20 young legal practitioners from the Court of Munich, Germany.
Parliament Speaker highlighted the successful and irreversible justice system reform as the country takes firm steps on the path towards the European Union integration.
“Albania has made firm steps towards EU accession and expects to hold the second intergovernmental conference, which will approve the negotiation position and open benchmarks on Cluster 1: Fundamentals,” Spiropali said.
“Justice reform and other democratizing and integrating reforms are successful and irreversible. The broad popular support is an inspiration and an obligation for the acceleration of EU membership,” Spiropali said.
Spiropali stated that Albania has been and remains a factor of development, democratization, integration and stability in the region and the country remains an active protagonist of the Berlin Process.
