TIRANA, September 2 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today during the proceedings of Bled Strategic Forum that, “We must be fully on Ukraine’s side and give them everything they need now, instead of giving them something more each time after they have suffered a great loss”.
In the speech held at the panel of prime ministers, Rama focused on the significance of politics in everyone’s life, while bringing the war in Ukraine as an example.
“It’s like entering a football pitch in which you have to play with a very strong team and you give your team just one sneaker, while the other foot is without a shoe,” said Rama.
“So, either we’re completely on their side and we give them whatever they need now instead of giving them more every time after they’ve suffered a great deal of damage, or we’ll find a way to do things together. But, doing things at the same time practically brings as much harm as giving opportunities to someone else,” he added.
The prime minister emphasized that, ” If we want Ukraine to win, we should put an end to this schizophrenia between values and principles, political behavior based on many other reasons”.
“Otherwise, the time will come when it will be written in the books and the truth will be much more bitter than when you are in an ecological room and claim victory”, he added. /r.e/p.s./
