TIRANA, July 16 /ATA/ – The Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption Adea Pirdeni has proposed more flexible work options and schedules for public administration employees to boost employee productivity and build a supportive environment for everyone.
The Ministry of State for Public Administration announced Tuesday that it had proposed changes to law on duration of the working hours, leaves, overtime and compensation at the public administration institutions, independent institutions and the self-governing local entities.
The Ministry said that for the first time the proposed changes introduce the flexible work options and daily work schedule concept.
Flexible working schedule has been a constant demand by the public administration employees in order to create a more supportive work environment for everyone.
The project decision proposes a type of work schedule within the work duration that allows employees to choose the hours and days of the week that they’ll be at work.
The Ministry clarified that the initiative aims at improving flexibility and effectiveness of the public administration, reflecting the employees’ needs for more adaptable work schedule to better balance work and after work activity.
