Rama: A postcard from Ionian coast

TIRANA, June 17/ATA/ Albania is experiencing this year a boom in tourism, while only in the first 5 months of the year over 3.3 million foreign tourists have visited the country.

The Albanian Riviera, often referred to as the European Caribbean, has continuously attracted the attention of foreign media, which have promoted Albania as a tourist destination, putting it on the map of destinations that should not be missed.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media a postcard from the Southern Ionian coast, which this year remains the main destination for foreign tourists who have chosen to spend their holidays in Albania.

In May alone, about 974 thousand foreign tourists have visited Albania, or 38% more than last year.

The long coastline from the north to the south, mountains, cultural sites, but also traditions and cuisine are attracting more and more tourists every year, while in the international media Albania is promoted as a destination to be discovered. /m.m/p.s./
