TIRANA, June 8/ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu participated in the ceremony of the 30th anniversary of the Order of Physicians of Albania.
While taking the floor at the event, Koçiu said that, “Beginning from July, the salaries of almost 20,000 doctors and nurses will increase, making another step towards the European standards”.
Minister Koçiu expressed her pride in the medical team, which according to her is always the most professional and the best prepared.
“We are determined to further strengthen the state-doctor-citizen relationship. The Albanian government and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection remain committed to addressing the challenges and creating the best opportunities for our doctors, ensuring that they have the necessary support and conditions to work in their profession here in our country”, underlined Koçiu.
Minister Koçiu also took the opportunity to promise to work for a stronger and better health system for everyone. /k.s/p.s./
