TIRANA, May 31 /ATA/ The export of tomatoes continues to grow, competing in the international market with high quality and improved varieties.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, said that the 2-fold increase in the export of tomatoes during the period January-April 2024, compared to the same period a year ago, is a testimony to the positive performance of the agricultural sector.
According to her, the positive indicators guarantee production for domestic consumption and export.
According to official statistics, the tomato ranks first in the group of most exported agricultural products.
