TIRANA, May 31 /ATA/ – The Minister of State for Youth and Children Bora Muzhaqi attended the plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
Muzhaqi, along with EESC President Oliver Röpke, Bliana Sirakova, EU Youth Coordinator, Elias Dray, Vice-President of the EU Youth Forum, Katrīna Leitāne, President of the EESC Youth Group and youth representatives, Amir Ghoreishi, Nicoletta Merlo, Mira-Maria Danisman, Susannah Halogen, Christelle Savall, Maurizio Cuttin, Anthony Efstathiadis, Vasilis Angelopoulos, Sébastien Pérel, Marion Picot, Petra Pieskä, Hasmik Barseghyan, civil society and youth representatives discussed youth policies and involvement of young people in the European Union’s long-term strategy.
Muzhaqi said in a post on the social media that the EESC “Youth Test” will open doors to young people, but it will also create a place for them to sit at the table where the EU policies are made.
The State Minister for Youth and Children said she was proud that Albanian young people have been granted the opportunity to contribute to youth policies in Albania.
