TIRANA, May 16 /ATA/ – The Ambassador of Germany to Albania, Karl Bergner, met with Senior Course on Security and Defense Course participants on Thursday.
German Ambassador Bergner and participants discussed national security and defense strategy, the defense policy guidelines, as well as the latest security policy developments.
The Senior Course on Security and Defence Studies (SCSDS) is a strategic level course. The aim of the SCSDS is to educate militaries and civilian officials from Albania, Balkan region, NATO allies and partners, for executive responsibilities at the strategic level. SCSDS has been designed for participants from the Albanian Armed Forces, civilian officials and NATO senior officers, and from the countries in the region to attend in-depth studies on security and defense matters.
A participant from Germany attended this year’s programme. The course is organized by Albanian Defense and Security College.
