TIRANA, March 12 /ATA/ The vice chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Toni Gogu, stated on Tuesday that the Growth Plan is a powerful dynamo of regional and European integration.
At the meeting of the National Council of European Integration, Gogu said that Tirana has already become the place where a series of regional initiatives are conceived.
Gogu underlined that the creation of the single regional market is no longer just an alternative plan, but is already one of the main pillars of EU integration.
“Parliament has played and will continue to play an important role in strengthening this important component for the integration of the region in the single European market,” he said.
Gogu also brought up the “odyssey” of Albanian businessmen, but also those from the region for the certification of products for the European market, while he requested that the Growth Plan be specified in this direction so that this ordeal can be shortened.
“The Growth Plan includes a fantastic injection for Albania, which also leads a part of the reforms in the region. I am convinced that we will manage to absorb the entire financing of nearly 1 billion euros. This is a very good dynamo for the economic engine of Albania and other countries in the region to make a good warm-up to continue the path and achieve what we dreamed of 33 years ago,” said Gogu.
He expressed optimism that within the year 2030 we will be able to see the dream of EU integration come true.
