TIRANA, February 29 /ATA/ The leaders of the region gathered today in Tirana, where there was held the EU-Western Balkans summit with a focus on integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union, as well as implementation of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media “Photo of the Day”, showing a moment from the reception of the leaders participating in this summit which took place in the premises of the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
Attending this summit were leaders of the region as well as the European Union Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Oliver Varhelyi.
At the EU-Western Balkans Summit for the New Growth Plan, there were approved 4 agreements, among which the reduction of banking transaction costs and green lanes./m.m/r.e/p.s./
