TIRANA, Feb 5 /ATA/ – Albanian Parliament convened a regular plenary session on Monday afternoon to discuss a series of problems encountered in the electoral zones after the green week, during which lawmakers held meetings in their constituencies.
The session was opened by Speaker Lindita Nikolla, and the session lacked the disruption scenes caused by the opposition lawmakers.
Nineteen main opposition MPs were not allowed to attend after having been excluded for 10 days for disrupting previous Parliament sessions and proceedings of the parliamentary committees.
Opposition lawmakers gathered in front of Parliament, but they were prevented by Republican Guard from entering the building.
