TIRANA, Jan 23 /ATA/ Special Forces conducted training side by side with their UK Navy peers.
The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, announced on Tuesday that, “the operators of our Special Forces battalion were involved in the exercise scenarios of the Southern Coastal Response Group of the United Kingdom, which is conducting maneuvers in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.”
Peleshi shared images from the exercise emphasizing that, “our troops conducted a familiarization exercise with their colleagues from the Royal Navy and the crews of two Merlin helicopters, who earlier performed a greeting flight over Skenderbej Square.”
