TIRANA, Dec 26 /ATA/ The cinema of Shkodra is being transformed to win back its identity as a public space in the function of citizens.
Prime Minister Edi Rama on Tuesday shared pictures from the Cinema of Shkodra, which is an asset of heritage and art.
The transformation of the cinema kicked off after the Municipality of Shkodra reclaimed the cinema building located in the center of the city after 23 years.
The lease contract between the entity that administered it and the Ministry of Culture signed in 2000, ran out in 2020.
In the last 3 years, the private company’s contract was not renewed by the Municipality of Shkodra, which is the entity that owns the facility./m.m/sm/
