TIRANA, December 6 /ATA/ On sidelines of the Ministerial being held in context of COP 28 in the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Prime Minister and at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku held a meeting with Jasim Husain Thabet, Abu Dhabi National Energy Company TAQA’s Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (GCEO and MD).
Balluku said that during the meeting, they put the emphasis on commitment of the two teams for implementation of the major project for the transmission line Albania – Italy.
“Strengthening the transmission lines is part of the energy strategy for Albania in 2030, to accommodate the increase in production capacity and the return of our country to a net exporter, not only for the region, but also more widely, for Europe”, stated Balluku./p.s./
