TIRANA, Oct 15 /ATA/ Justice Minister Toni Gogu today shared footage showing damage to the office of the Free Legal Aid Service Centre on the premises of the Ministry of Justice, highlighting the contribution of law students at the ministry.
In his response, Gogu stressed that “those who destroy and set things on fire do not represent the students”.
According to Gogu, more than 800 students have received training through the service, while 373 have contributed through three-month internships. He added that 80 law students had been involved in the service this year alone, while 12 outstanding students had been employed by the service.
The Minister also stressed that young people have the right to protest, voice their opposition and demand more, underlining that the institution remains open to dialogue.
“Young people have the right to protest, disagree and demand more. Our door remains open to them, even when they disagree with us,” Gogu concluded in his statement.
