TIRANA, November 24 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that, “January 21” event is a state crime for which the new justice system should act.
In a press conference, Rama said that it is an unfortunate occasion that while the Human Rights Court in Strasbourg has issued a very significant, meaningful and clear ruling regarding a state crime that has been for more than 1 decade covered by the dust not only of oblivion but also of the disloyalty of the institutions of justice, the general reaction in the forum of public debate has been quite poor.
Rama brought to attention the extraordinary weight of this ruling of the European Court on the social life of our country.
According to him, “It is time for the new justice system to react”.
Rama emphasized that, “Reading the ruling of the Strasbourg Court is like reading a story repeated by us over the years; and pointing the finger directly at the executive authorities of the time is written in black and white”.
Rama expressed his unwavering belief that there is no force that can prevent the final disclosure of the state crime of January 21, but of course it can continue to be delayed./p.s./
