TIRANA, Oct 24 /ATA/ Edi Rama informed on Tuesday that the tendering procedure for the waterfront project of the Buna Bridge has started, adding that a wind of change is blowing for Shkodra.
While sharing views from this project, Rama emphasized that the first step has been taken for its implementation and the tendering procedure made available by the Albanian government has already started.
Rama assured that this project will transform the entire entrance of the city of Shkodra.
The Prime Minister assured that from an underinvested space for years, the entrance of the city will turn into one of the most beautiful urban areas in the country.
“The project will entail a large pedestrian and bicycle space and the bypass works already underway, lot 2”, he said.
The construction of the Buna Bridge was agreed at the meeting of the two governments held on February 27, 2023, in Montenegro.
The project is expected to cost about 1.5 billion ALL and will be shared by the two governments.
