TIRANA, Oct 22 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday shared images of the old bridge over the Buna River, where a new harbour is being constructed as part of a string projects the Albanian Development Fund designed to transform the north-western city of Shkodra.
Some of the most important projects include construction of a multifunctional green park along Buna River bank, a harbour adjacent to Buna Bridge as a new tourist attraction, as well as construction of a museum showcasing shining history of Shkodra region over the centuries.
“The old Buna Bridge is a unique love,” PM Rama wrote on the social media.
, Work is underway on construction of a new pier with a floating platform, suitable for mooring boats, near the old bridge crossing the Buna River, a project designed to further enrich the tourist offer of the north-western Albanian city.
The 60-meter wide and 20 meter long pier will include a 59-meter wide and 4 meter long dock suitable for mooring tourist boats.
Construction of three permanent docks on Lake Shkodra shoreline, the sailing connection between Albania and Montenegro, as well as construction of new roads along the lakeside villages will open up a completely different perspective of tourism development in this part in northwest Albania.
