Rama: Albania’s Presidency of Security Council, a moment of pride

TIRANA, September 21 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama considered today Albania’s Presidency of the Security Council a moment of pride for all Albanians.

In a televised interview from the Security Council hall, Rama said that this is a historic moment for our country.

“Albania has never been in a more elevated position than at present in international relations while chairing one of the most important sessions in the Security Council in at least the last decade; Albania in the role of President of the Security Council is an extraordinary fulfillment of a difficult effort of a series of years of work and weaving a new fabric of relations with the world and a dynamic, dignified foreign policy, with the awareness that we are a small country, but at the same time with the responsibility of representing all Albanians with dignity, and equally”, he emphasized.

According to the prime minister, “This is truly a moment of pride for all Albanians and a motivation to understand together how much we can do if we have the right vision, direction and dedication”. /r.e/p.s./
