TIRANA, September 12/ATA/- The match between Romania and Kosovo played in Bucharest for the European Championship 2024 was interrupted for several minutes because Romanian hooligans unveiled anti-Kosovo posters.
The referee of the match ordered both teams to go out of the football field due to the nationalist slogans in the stands by the Romanian ultras.
The fans displayed banners and posters carrying the words “Kosovo is Serbia”, which forced the match referee to stop the match, reported the KosovaPress.
Kosovo players refused to play unless the banner was taken down.
The match resumed after a few minutes. /p.s./
