TIRANA, Aug 28 /ATA/ Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, announces that the seven wildfires in the area of Kruja have been put out, so there are no active fires in the country.
In a post on social media, Minister Peleshi emphasizes that there are no wildfires raging in the country, despite the scorching temperatures.
“The seven wildfires that engulfed different areas of the country yesterday have been extinguished, and currently there are no active fires in the country, despite the high temperatures. In the village of Krasta, in the municipality of Kruja, all the fires have been extinguished,” Peleshi said.
“Thanks to relentless work and maximum commitment, the flames were extinguished in the landfill in Elbasan. The situation is being monitored by the fire brigade of the municipality. All civil protection structures at the local and central level are on full alert,” Peleshi concludes his reaction.
