TIRANA, July 21 / ATA/ Minister of Interior Taulant Balla congratulates the State Police, which arrested two people who deliberately set fire to a forest massif on Mount Partizan in Berat.
In a post on social media, Balla stated that arson is considered a serious crime and is punishable by up to 15 years in jail.
“Yesterday, the images of the moment when two people intentionally set fire in a forest massif on Mount Partizan were published in the national media. Today, the State Police have managed to identify the two arsonists, arrest them, meanwhile work is ongoing to document the damage caused to the environment, private and public property.
REMINDER! Arson is a serious crime punishable by up to 15 years in prison,” Balla writes.
