Meloni’s Albanian visit doesn’t pass unnoticed

TIRANA, August 17/ATA/ – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited Albania in the course of her holidays. According to the “Palazzo Chigi”, she traveled by ferry, wrote the Italian daily “Open”.

PM Meloni allowed herself a visit to Albania during her Puglia holiday at a farm in Ceglie Messapica, in the Brindisi area.

In fact, the Italian prime minister took advantage of the proximity to Albania to take a scheduled ferry and arrive at the port of Vlora from Brindisi, where she was received by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

There were memes in the social media about PM Meloni’s trip across the Adriatic, a few days after Rama’s post, which had compared the flow of Italian tourists in Albania with the landing of Albanian emigrants in Italy in 1991.

The Albanian coast is much cheaper than Puglia and the Italian one in general.

Recently, Rama told “Il Foglio” that there is a special harmony with the Italian prime minister and spoke about the invitation he had extended to her.

“Meloni told me that she would do her best to come to Albania while she was in Puglia”, said Rama earlier.

The journey took six and a half hours. However, there are no images circulating online of Meloni’s presence on board.

But, there is a video showing that she arrived in Vlora.

On the short trip to Albania, Meloni was accompanied by her husband Andrea Giambruno and her daughter Ginevra, as well as sister Arianna with her husband, Minister Francesco Lollobrigida.//a.i/p.s./
