TIRANA, July 5 /ATA/ Under the direction of the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, the Administrative Council of Social Insurance held the regular meeting on Wednesday.
In her remarks, Minister Ibrahimaj appreciated the work done by the Institute of Social Insurance in terms of good management, adding that it has ensured a good financial sustainability and according to forecasts, this progress will continue even further.
The general director of the Social Insurance Institute, Astrit Hado, for his part, said that given that direct income have exceeded the target level, there is a decrease in subsidizing from the state budget and the deficit of the scheme.
During the first 5 months of this year, income from social security contributions increased by about 10 billion ALL, reaching 49.6 billion ALL, from 39.7 billion ALL for the same period of 2022.
