TIRANA, October 29 /ATA/ – Chairman of the Democratic Party’s Parliamentary group Gazment Bardhi stated today that the door of the Democratic Party has always been open to any force seeking to remove Edi Rama from power.
Speaking during a television appearance, Bardhi noted that the Democratic Party (DP) had also responded positively to an initiative by a civil society organization six months ago.
“We responded positively to the invitation. This forum provided a platform that we supported as a fillip to unite all parties seeking change in Albania—specifically, those who want Edi Rama out of office. Above all, their primary goal is ensuring free and fair elections,” said Bardhi.
Bardhi emphasized that the DP has welcomed every initiative to unite all social actors, going beyond just political parties.
According to him, such cooperation is founded on ideas, a shared vision and common objectives and goals.
“While we may have different perspectives, there is still common ground that unites us,” Bardhi said.
