TIRANA, June 21 /ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, James Cleverly.
Xhaçka said that the meeting with Cleverly touched on bilateral cooperation in a number of fields, including migration, economic cooperation and British investments in Albania.
Xhaçka also thanked Secretary James for his personal commitment to the development of this cooperation.
“A very good meeting with UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2023). We discussed bilateral cooperation in a number of fields including migration, economic cooperation and British investments in Albania. Gratitude to Secretary James for his personal commitment to the development of this cooperation,” Xhaçka wrote in a post on social media.
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, is participating in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023 (URC23), which is jointly organized by the United Kingdom and Ukraine, on June 21-22, 2023, in London.
The conference will bring together governments, civil society and the private sector to show support for Ukraine’s economic recovery and prosperity.
Participating in this conference, where Albania is represented by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, are 60 countries with 40 of them represented by heads of state and foreign ministers.
