TIRANA, May 18 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The plenary session held on Thursday morning, started with the invitation to take the oath of office from of the Parliament Speaker, Lindita Nikolla, for the new MPs who received the mandate from the CEC due to the vacancies created. MPs Ludovik Hasani, Asllan Dogjani, Frrok Gjini and Qani Xhafa were sworn in at the Assembly.
Afterwards, parliament passed two draft laws, which were discussed in the session on April 13, 2023.
The bill “On the ratification of the loan agreement, between the Republic of Albania (the Borrower), represented by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and KfW Frankfurt am Main (KfW) and the Albanian Development Fund (FSHZH). (“Project Implementation Agency”), for the “Regional Integrated Development” project, was passed with 72 votes in favor, 28 against and 1 abstention.
The draft law “On the ratification of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of Montenegro, for the construction of the cross-border bridge over the Buna/Boiana river”, was approved with 97 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.
