TIRANA, May 13/ATA/- Vlora court ruled the security measure of “prison arrest” for the candidate of the “Together we Win” coalition in Himara municipality Fredi Beleri, who was arrested in the act at midnight on May 12 on charges of “Active corruption in elections committed in cooperation”.
In today’s session, the court ruled incompetence for the crime of “active corruption in elections”, passing the case to SPAK.
Beleri’s defense lawyer told the media at the end of the court session that this was a political and fabricated attack.
“They judged the arrest in the act as legal! Within 10 days, SPAK will have its say. It was a political and fabricated attack”, said the lawyer. /p.s./
