TIRANA, May 13/ATA/ The training of police officers to be engaged in protection of election facilities is completed all over the country and there has begun their distribution in the designated service areas.
The State Police said that, “This is in implementation of the tasks defined in the plan of measures by the General Directorate of the State Police to guarantee order and public safety during the election process as well as the smooth running of this process”.
Every police officer has been provided with a pocket book, as well as with the identification document according to the code number of the employees who will be engaged in service during the election process while there is set up the digital application where every police officer will report in real time fulfillment of functional tasks, as well as any problems that may be encountered.
While all election facilities are already covered with police officers, their protection starts from the moment the election materials arrive.
During the briefings held in all districts, the Police leaders have asked all the police officers engaged for the smooth running of the election process, to show professionalism, prudence and correctness for implementation of all tasks defined in the plan of measures.
The State Police guarantees the citizens that it has taken all measures to create the conditions for citizens to vote freely and calmly on Sunday. /k.s/p.s./
