TIRANA, May 6 /ATA/ President of the Republic Bajram Begaj accompanied by the First Lady, Armanda Begaj, participated in the Coronation celebrations of King Charles III and the Queen of the United Kingdom in London.
President Begaj wrote on Twitter that he was honored to represent Albania at the historic Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
“Cherishing our strong relationship with the United Kingdom, we send our best wishes to Their Majesties,” Begaj wrote.
On Friday, President Begaj and First Lady attended the reception hosted by King Charles III and the Queen of the United Kingdom at Buckingham Palace for the heads of state participating in the ceremony.
Meanwhile, on Saturday they attended the coronation ceremonies of the king and queen of the United Kingdom in Westminster Abbey.
On the sidelines of the ceremonies, President Begaj also met with various heads of state.
