TIRANA, April 27/ATA/ – President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović stated today that Kosovo is already a reality and very soon it will be recognized by all the countries of the European Union.
Responding to reporters’ questions on Kosovo, Milanović said during the joint press conference with President Bajram Begaj in Zagreb that, “Croatia will contribute to the progress of Kosovo.”
“Kosovo is a reality. The largest number of EU countries and NATO countries has accepted it, some have not. If you ask the countries that have not accepted it about the reason, they will not know how to justify their position. Croatia has been among the first countries that has accepted Kosovo. This is a reality,” he said.
“We will do everything we can and never with the aim of provoking Serbia, but we want to convince them that this is the reality. The reality is that Kosovo is part of Europe, which in the not-too-distant future will be recognized by all EU countries,” Milanović emphasized.
“Serbia is now in a schizophrenic political position. On the one hand, they dream about relations with Russia, while on the other hand they claim to join Europe. Kosovo is on the right path. We will actively contribute as much as possible”, said among other things the President of Croatia./gj.m/p.s./
