The candidate for Tirana mayor, Belind Kelliçi, rolled out his program for the capital entitled “Solutions, loyalty, kindness, help and truth.”
He said that his promises are 100% doable.
“We will guarantee education, road infrastructure, irrigation for agricultural lands. We will reach out to the families in need. You will not lose a single working day in Tirana to get a document. You will always find a door open whenever you need our support. The Municipality of Tirana will reflect our tradition of hospitality, of willingness to help anyone who knocks on our door,” he said.
Focusing on the free urban transport, he said that around 200,000 residents who use urban transport every day will no longer pay for the bus ticket. “With these salaries and pensions, you will keep that money in your pockets. “
As part of the effort to relieve traffic in the city , in addition to the free bus service, the solution is to connect “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard with Zogu I Boulevard through the underpass that will be built in “Skënderbej” Square, without compromising a single square centimeter of the square or the existing underground parking lot.
According to him, Tirana will have 30% more free parking spaces for its residents.
