TIRANA, February 6 /ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka stated today that there is no information about Albanians injured or who may have lost their lives from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
“According to the information provided from the Embassy of Albania in Türkiye (since the early hours of the morning until now) there are no Albanians injured or who may have lost their lives. We shall be contact for any updated information”, wrote Xhaçka on social media.
The minister also said that, “At this difficult moment, we are ready to help Türkiye in any way we can”.
“Our prayers go to the victims of the tragic earthquake,” said Xhaçka.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs said that for emergency cases from the areas affected by the earthquake in Turkey, Albanian citizens residing there can contact the emergency numbers:
