TIRANA, January 28 /ATA/ Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi held another meeting during his official visit to the USA during which he discussed cyber security.
“We discussed cyber security challenges and common objectives in this space during the meeting with USCYBERCOM Commander, General Paul M. Nakasone and Deputy Commander General Lt. Timothy Haugh”, wrote Peleshi in a post on social media.
“Support from the USA for strengthening and improving Albania’s cyber capabilities”, wrote the Minister of Defense.
Peleshi is on an official visit to the USA where he has held important meetings with American officials and congressmen.
Earlier, Defense Minister Peleshi was received at the Pentagon by US Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III.
Yesterday, Peleshi held a meeting with Congressman Matt Gaetz, member of the Armed Services Committee and the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives during which they confirmed cooperation in the field of defense between Albania and the strategic ally, the USA. /p.s./
