TIRANA, December 7 /ATA/ The Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime, SPAK, provided statistics of the work carried out during November.
Thus, it has confiscated 16 immovable properties, 5 movable properties, 11 commercial entities.
SPAK also said that it has submitted 12 criminal reports, but on 4 reports, it decided not to start the investigations.
“There were also registered 15 penal proceedings, of which 3 proceedings for criminal offenses related to organized crime and 12 proceedings for criminal offenses related to corruption”, reads SPAK November report.
SPAK stated in its report that in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the National Anti-Mafia Directorate (DNA), Italy, as well as in the context of the growing cooperation of the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime and the National Anti-Mafia Directorate (DNA), on November 8, 2022, there was held a symposium in Albania.
Meanwhile, on November 14, 2022, in Bucharest, Romania, there was signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism of Romania and the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime of the Republic of Albania. In addition to the coordination meetings within the joint investigative teams, Director as well as the Prosecutors of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime has also participated in 7 meetings, briefings and conferences. /j.p/p.s./
