TIRANA, December 7/ATA/ General Directorate of Road Transport Service reported today that the installation of the network and new equipment of the e-Monitoring system is underway in the premises inside and outside the Technical Control Centers of vehicles, where video surveillance was missing.
According to the Directorate, the project has already been implemented in the Technical Control Centers of vehicles of Saranda, Vlora, Gjirokastra, Korça, Elbasan, Fier, Kukës, Dibra, Laç, while work is underway in Durrës region.
The installation of the network and new devices of the e-Monitoring system includes the completion of digital and interactive control, in real time, with automatic license plate reading capabilities, with search programming and risk list reporting under high security conditions.
The Directorate clarified that, “A central surveillance room will manage the data from the latest technology cameras. Investment from self-financing as an entity is part of the transformative intervention package of Road Transport Services across the country”./p.s./
