Rama saw closely the halls in the Palace of Congresses and in the “Air Albania” stadium where the leaders of the European Union countries and accredited journalists will gather for this event.
Rama was also at the Marriot Hotel, which opens its doors for the first time in the tower of “Air Albania Stadium”, which Rama describes as a place of the highest international quality of hospitality.
“Everything is ready to host the European Union in Albania”, said PM Rama in a post on social media.
The EU-Western Balkans summit, which will be held on December 6 in Tirana, is the first summit of its kind to take place in the Western Balkans region.
The summit is part of the European Council’s Strategic Agenda 2019-2024 and is considered an opportunity to reaffirm the key importance of the strategic partnership between the EU and the Western Balkans, a region with a clear perspective towards the EU. /p.s./
