TIRANA, Nov 15 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting on Tuesday with the French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Laurence Boone.
Minister Xhaçka expressed her gratitude to France for its continuous contribution as part of the efforts to find the best ways to bring the region closer to the European Union.
The Albanian chief diplomat emphasized that Albania will continue to play a constructive, stabilizing and proactive role in the region, in order to help achieve peace, stability, security and cohesion.
The French official Boone appreciated the holding of the First Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference and guaranteed France’s support in the newly initiated process.
