TIRANA, Nov 6 /ATA/ – Water inflows into the main dams on the Drin River cascade slightly increased after rains that swept Albania a day ago, the Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) said on Sunday,
According to KESH, light to moderate rain fell in Drin River basin yesterday, with measurable rainfall average at 25 mm at the Koman lake basin.
“Light rain of around 5mm fell in the Fierza basin, the largest dam for its water catchment and reservoir capacity on the Drin River cascade,” KESH said.
The data published by the power corporate show that the water inflows to Fierza dam are estimated at 85 m3/s; 60 m3 at Koman hydropower plant and around 10 m3 at Vau i Dejes HPP.
